Price Leblanc Lexus covered a warrantee out of kindness of their heart

Took my Lexus in for shimmy when you hit the brakes. All four rotors were warped. It has less than 25k miles. They were not going to cover it because they say it's my fault. After some calls to management, they "decided" to cover it so I would have a good experience.
I call BS. If it was not covered, they would not have done it. They knew it was covered but tried to lay the cost on me.
Have you ever heard of a dealership covering work on the warrantee if the part wasn't covered?

Dealership doesn't care as long as they get paid. Warped rotors are a sticky situation (literally and figuratively). The just generally don't warp without something happening such as driving through water when hot.

I'm afraid you are wrong. I've had warranty work done 5000 miles outside of warranty as "goodwill". It happens more than you think.

It’s probably not goodwill. It’s more likely the dealer misrepresenting the mileage to the warranty company.

Call the owner directly at 952-9127. Tell Mary you expect better service next time or you will be taking your business elsewhere.

How in the frick are four rotors warped after 25k miles?
ETA: Called my brother, an ASE certified mechanic for Mercedes, and he says be grateful they covered it. Shows how much I know.

Believe or not you had a GOOD experience, warped rotors (especially 4) are not a warranty issue and almost never covered. You got goodwill coverage to keep your business.

I just purchased my truck. It has a section stating brakes are not covered under warranty unless blah blah blah. Anywho, you are complaining about someone doing you a favor. Makes you look like a dick.

Yes. GMC bought a new dash for my ‘07 Yukon when the original cracked. I bought it with 60k miles, they did it for goodwill (did charge me a $100 fee).

Stealerships won't do any warranty-related work unless it's covered by the manufacturer.
