Biden’s comments came almost immediately after the travel ban.
The idea that it wasn’t related was only claimed after the most recent debate.
Not one person, including Biden, refuted the claim that it was in relation to the travel ban, something Trump stated frequently, until the most recent debate.

It was a travel ban, genius. The only people allowed to come in country were people who lived in the US. This virus was here before January. I got it in October. And even with all of this, you goons on the left was calling Trump racist for doing the travel ban. So you can't have it both ways.
