discrimination is only bad if it's from a person of the dominant culture against a person of a marginalized group

Be a minority and woman. They get even more preferential treatment.
I know a couple who own a business that deals with Government contracts. They have been together for years and have kids in college. They have never married because the business is in her name and as a minority woman owned business she gets all sorts of extra consideration others don't get.

It fricking sucks. There's a lot of government contracts I'd like to bid on but being a white dude I'm 6 steps back from the jump.
I've considered creating a holding company to be an umbrella for a couple of these contracts I'd like to chase and have it owned by my buddy's 100% native mom, a veteran disabled black dude that's in a wheel chair that I became friends with in college, and a lesbian single mom Unitarian pastor that I've known forever.
