How ever you decide to fight you need to get a support group by your side. Be honest with your family and friends. We have had 3 friends kill themselves in the past year in my town and no one thought it was that bad. Just know that no matter what there are people that will help you get through this if you willing to let them.

Bro I have been an addict my entire adult life. Mainly prescription pills and heroin. A few months ago I decided to give my life to our Lord Jesus Christ and he delivered me from my self made prison. He can and will do the same for you. The bible says by his stripes we are healed. Give it to God brother and I promise that the old you will die and you will become a brand new man. Give it a thought bro. We aren't strong enough to do it on our own.

I paid well over 10k to get fully medically detoxed. Looking back on it, i would've paid 100k. Don't let a temporary Financial set back dictate your life

You’re very welcome. Unless you’ve been there, you can’t truly understand. Alcohol withdrawal is absolutely terrible. It affects every single cell in your body. Other drugs don’t do that so much. So every cell in your body is negatively reacting to the sudden absence of alcohol. That’s about what it feels like too.

Go to AA or NA or even if it isn't just alcohol, AA. Lots of folks in AA could also be in NA.

I initially thought the whole AA thing was dumber than a bag of rocks and 10 years later, I still haven't had a drink thanks to AA.

Yes. The advice and words of wisdom on this board are very impactful if shared honestly. Lots of people here with experience overcoming challenges and those are the best advice givers.

I one 100 percent agree, there are so many people who could help this man, but on the OT you are going to get some horribly degrading comments.

Just said one for you. Crack open the Bible, do some pushups, walk, run if you can. If you try and fall down do not be afraid to get back up again. Best of luck on your journey.

Of course the Bible.
Do you know how many lives the Bible has saved? No other book has laid out instructions like the original Big Book.
Of course some people like to use it as a weapon, judging and condemning people. I like to use it to “live life abundantly.”

This. You can work your way out of debt after the fact, if that's what it takes. Do whatever it takes to get yourself well first, then live to handle the collateral shite.
Best of luck to you, man. Stay strong!
