Prayers Needed from the OT

Calling on the OT for prayers needed for my 65 yr old godmother.

Found out a few hours ago that she was taken by ambulance last weekend to the hospital after waking up with heavy legs and trouble walking. At the hospital she was diagnosed with sepsis which brought on shock and low blood pressure. Tried exploratory lower intestine surgery which came back negative. Doctors also began broad spectrum antibiotic treatments and pressers to raise blood pressure. Next morning tests came back positive for bacterial meningitis.

Godfather was told high chance she wouldn't make it by several doctors. Placed on a ventilator and sedated until Thursday when things seemed to start improving. Speech is improving now that she's off the ventilator, but currently can't walk due to muscle atrophy, at least another week in the hospital for PT and OT, and potentially in danger of losing several fingertips.

Will try to see her tomorrow (if allowed) since I'm in the area for the weekend. She has always been there for me so this is a huge shock. I know nothing about sepsis or bacterial meningitis so this is new territory. If anyone here is able to send a prayer this evening, that would be greatly appreciated
