So the accused have no means of defending themselves.
Can anyone account for their whereabouts every day of 1996? Maybe someone who obsessively records every mundane detail, but even then they would have to be able to prove they didn't write down anything false as a cover.

This lady said she saw someone that resembled him and that is why she came forward. Her own father is also skeptical of her accusations.

I did not read the specifics of the case in the OP. I am just commenting on how some of these cases become public so many years later.
