The National Hurricane Center making the width of the cone from roughly Destin to Tampa will certainly get a lot of people's attention early in the week........ which is a good thing.

that's quite the distance in 24 hrs from thursday am to friday am. good that its moving quick but inland would see higher winds if its moving at that rate of speed. that's about a 20mph rate.

Has Liz popped in yet to tell everyone how many hurricanes she has ridden out?

12Z Icon with a small shift eastward (10 to 15 miles) from previous run. Big Bend landfall at ~969 MB.
12Z GFS with small shift westward (15 to 20 miles) from previous run. Landfall very close to what Icon has but 950 MB.

Most definitely. That shite could have hurricane force winds around Atlanta. Last time that happened, it was devastating with all the rain, hills and trees. Atlanta not used to that type of wind after rain. Lot of downed trees and power outages

What resource do y'all use to pull up as like a favorite that basically is a one stop shop to tell me everything I need to know about the hurricane strength, paths, etc. Nothing to complicated but gives the whole picture and outlook as accurate as can be. Ive always used Noaa hurricane but I dont like that it just calls it storm, depression, hurricane.

If you need us to do the Falcons a favor and host the game Sunday in New Orleans we will be more than willing to do so

The easiest way to get up-to-date information is at the National Hurricane Center webpage for the storm. It is strictly forecast based and is updated regularly.
