Can you quantify the benefit of $1 given to a publicly traded company and one given to hillbilly Jim? I honestly think it's an important discussion, notwithstanding this moronic bill being floated by people you'd vote for. There are pros and cons to each, and a balance is undoubtedly key.

The legislation as proposed in the OP isn’t purely helping working Americans out though. My wife and I easily make 6 figures between us but aren’t at the couples threshold. We have a solid life and our three kids are well taken care of. This would give me an extra 5500 for month that I don’t need in any manner whatsoever. I’m just going to save it or spend it on private school and then save the money I would’ve spent on private school.
It’s incredibly wasteful as proposed.

It's not wasteful chances are a lot of people need this and the ones that don't will buy shite which will pump money into the economy
