On the flipside, the most useful government employee is the guys that cut the interstate grass.

I see your post office and raise you the US senate.

Fauci, Biden, Pelosi, Harris would like a word.

Be careful, my grandmother was a postal employee!
But yes, without a doubt!

Cops are out here killing “innocent” people so I’d guess them, right?

GOP employees the worst

DMV is 70/30. 70% have been helpful and courteous. 30% can die in a fire. I have been to the dmv five times in the last three months so I am pretty comfortable with these numbers.

Nah it is the sewage and water of new orleans. I do not wish even my worst enemies that kind of mental trauma that I had to endure going there. I never thought i could witness as much incompetence.

I don't know which post office you use in the BR area, but when I sell my stuff on Ebay I typically use the post office in Prairieville and I have found them to actually be very good. Helpful, knowledgable, and courteous.
Perkins Road is generally pretty good. The one on College is a clusterfrick. They have an old bitch that works in there that I have wanted to choke before.

Mail carrier on route at work is phenomenal. His substitute on his off days is atrociously bad.

About six weeks ago one of the cows at the Covington post office tried to convince me that a birthday card that I was mailing to the UK was considered a package and would require a customs sticker. She wanted to charge $7 to mail the damn thing. I told her she was full of shite and mailed it from another post office for $1.50.

The RestoreLA inspection and FEMA people have got to be the worst. Im not sure how you can be worse than that. It's basically washed up ex-cons from other states.

That’s where I ended up, paying only $25. I just got back from the first post office (again), the regular employee was there. She is great. I told her about the lady from this morning, she agreed, she’s an idiot. The other lady is a floater between several offices.

I think most in-house postal workers haven't been educated and have no idea what the mailing/shipping options with the USPS are which renders them jackasses to their customers.

2nd class or media mail would be an option with a poster. If you're selling that much print your own postage. The post office rarely weighs packages once they are labeled (hint, hint)

DMV employees would like to have a word with you...so if you'll take a number and sit down they will be with you in 3-5 hours
