904 Russell was where it was at
It was a year after me, but the kid who fell out of the window and lived was in either 902 or 904.

We didn't have an RA, could do whatever the frick we wanted.
It was amazing! No front desk, no RA, and no rules.
And the mini-mart was awesome for late-night snacks and tabaco products. Buying dip with my paw points!

Sellery Hall, UW-Madison. Then moved on to the Round House on Langdon.

Russell Hall was weird. The first three floors are in the ground, due to the hill it was built upon, so the 9th floor is more like the 6th floor.
The kid survived because he went through the tree (you can see it in my first post in the thread) and then he landed in some bushes they had just installed.
Kid was drunk off his rocker and apparently just stood up and walked straight back into the dorm to go back to his room. They didn’t take him to the hospital until his friends found him in the morning sleeping with his window screen blown out.

Ryan Hall, Saint Michael's College. I think the building was one of the original structures from the school's founding in 1904. 2 RA's on each side of the floor (one male, one female), no desk or really any security, no A/C. Rugs perpetually smelled like stale beer.
It was bad when I was there and can't imagine it being any better now.

Suttle Hall, Miss'ippi State. Pic is from the building awaiting demolition some 10 years ago, but it didn't look much better when I was there in the 70's.

That, in my opinion is the best location on campus...near frat/sorority row, right next to the lake, close to state St, close to the Union and Terrace. A buddy and I looked at a place there at one point. Didn't pull the trigger.

Kirby Smith. Back then Al lot of us athletes in minor sports were put in Kirby instead of the more expensive Broussard Hall. We got to eat in Broussard cafeteria on weekends though!
