The Eastern side is mostly plains, but the west and north are amazing.

Flathead and Whitefish lakes are gorgeous as well. Lakes that are ringed by mountains and are natural are pretty rare. Water that's crystal clear. And during the summer, you're just about guaranteed 80 degrees and sun every single day.
