Yeah, I'm going to have to check that out one day. I'd love to rent a remote cabin for a week or two in the mountains

Really cool place. You can catch a day boat from Juneau, they'll do pickups and drop offs or take a float plane. Most of it near the twin glaciers is treeless and it's gorgeous.

Also a cool place to goat hunt.

Did Grand Teton and Yellowstone for the third time, last May. Could go every year and it never get old....



Backstage and onstage at the Ryman Auditorium, before the renovations. Not part of the show, but holy cow, the quintessential elements of American culture that were in many ways birthed on that very spot and in those rooms. Went back to an Opry show there about 15 years ago. Bought tickets six months in advance, on the second row. You never know that far in advance who will be there. That night it was George Jones.



Monument Valley is something else to see.
