I had both too and the castle of lions. Looking back the castle was meh.

Also had all the Thundercats toys (my mom entered me into a contest and I won all the first gen stuff) Cats Lair, thundertank, mutant flyer, etc.

You missed out on crossfire, this shite was fun.

For me I was all into the movie Rad, and I wanted a Mongoose bmx bike with stunt pegs. Never got one, so I had to do tricks on my huffy.

So, 2 years before the action figure was first released and one year before the show began? Cool.

quote:

The original action figure came out in 1975, and carried a Kenner product ID of 65000. It was sold with an engine block that the user could slide into Steve's right hand in order to demonstrate the lifting power of what Kenner called the "Bionic Power Arm", which was activated by pushing a lever-button on the doll's back.

My uncle had one but apparently it was a late '70s model because his was yellow. Fun to ride.

Robotech licensed their mechs to Hasbro and they built them under the Transformers line. I had this.

Reading through this thread, my parents were pretty awesome.

Right around the time I got the greatest toy of all time. The Evel Knievel stunt cycle. Damn I loved that toy.

I had a lot of the knock off transformer toys which sucked. There was a kid down the street that got every damn toy he wanted so I got to play with all the cool toys. He had all the Star Wars stuff, Transformers, He-Man,etc....little bastard. I got a job washing dishes at 14 to buy a Diamond Back Strike Zone..so awesome until it got stolen.

Then another job to buy a Mongoose Decade like the one on the right.

But the toy I always wanted was a Chrome Hutch Trick Star.

Mostly I wanted this though.
