I never had a great surface to run it on. The driveway wasn't smooth enough and the kitchen didn't have enough space. Imagine an RC car on ice. Would work on water but once again has to be pretty tame water.

As someone who had one, dont waste your money. The battery life on it sucked and it didn't really go over anything remotely hard very well. I was pretty disappointed bc the commercial made it look invincible against anything.

My older brother always got the good toys while I was stuck with the shittier ones. He got the Autobots while I was stuck with the Decepticons. He got GI Joe while I settled for Cobra. And he got the lion Voltron set while I was stuck with this Voltron money grab:

Decepticons and Cobra were awesome. Certainly not second class action figures. The car Voltron was shite though.

I had the Typhoon Hovercraft. It was awesome then but probably a piece of crap in reality.
