This isn't really true, at least for the Dallas/FW area. You have to go back to 1980 to see the type temps in June that the GFS is spitting out right now.

I was installing fencing with my Uncle then. Denton, not Dallas.

It was damned toasty, but I don’t remember it being throw up hot.

It must have been a “drier” heat .

I 2nd that. I helped build a fence over there in Shreveport and it was the hottest day in my life. Crazy hot.

I'm making progress. I didn't get triggered this time.

Working in the Permian basin, or the gulf coast basin, in that wearing full FRs sounds unbelievably terrible.

This was the June 1980 stretch from the Dallas/FW area records:

Bad news for fallguy, though, the following August was a scorcher. Average high of 100° with 20+ days at or above 100° and a big fat 0.00" of rainfall for the month.

I think most people in the area likely remember that Summer.

Ya ya ya yeaaaahhh and quit having private transportation and just ride the run down POS buses. If you get mugged then you deserve it. Shouldn't be allowed to have anything anyway, right?

If you have major construction projects happening at any major industrial facilities or a government related site, just send everyone home for a few weeks.
You aren’t getting shite done with how the heat stress program works

Houston from last summer’s heat/drought.

I’m still recovering from that shite! Just had two trees removed this week that didn’t make it through the drought last year and still trying to get the grass to fill back in where it died off. And now Montgomery county is showing 109 in June? Screw that!
