Army post that has, over its history, been a part of the Space Program, missile defense, etc. It is still a center of development for Army Missile systems and the home of the Marshall Space Flight Center.

No response to texts to father, mother, and brother who all work on the Arsenal (NASA, DOD, DOD). I'll update if I hear anything back.
ETA: Dad is at Michoud on a business trip thank god. They announced it there. Still no word from mom and brother who work with missile defense.

Doesn't sound like a false alarm. Redstone Arsenal houses about 40,000 government employees/active military. Typically on the top 10 list for Terrorist targets in the US.

They're reporting its at the Sparkman Center. I believe that's where the Army Missile Command is located.
