In close contact with a buddy on base. Not over. No information. Rumors are it may be more than one building. Also there was supposed to be a shooter drill sometime this week. Crazy timing or diabolical planning.

Not when you understand what it means.
They teach us there are 3 ways to survive this situation.
If you are capable and away from the shooter, run, get out.
If you are not able to escape, hide, lock yourself in an office close the windows, make no noise.
If neither of those options are possible, fight, if someone is going to kill you, they are going to do it anyways, find a weapon and end the confrontation if you have no other choices for survival.
