BTW, the wife unit wants a Macan Turbo. Has yours been good to you?
Yes, but I do the services myself. And it requires a lot of them. Crazy shite like bolts that are 1 time use, the calipers are like this and many others. Parts aren't bad. If you had to go through the dealer you would absolutely be raped. I think that's why you can get such good deals on lightly used ones.

The cost on alot of these are getting out of hand. My wife has a Macan Turbo which has been awesome but a 911 is now out of reach for most people.
Agreed. 911 pricing is out of control, and it's only going to get worse since sales are down for everything that's not a 911.
Porsche reports U.S. retail sales for first quarter 2026
I was lucky to get one of the last 992.2 MY26 orders in recently with a delivery date in July because I have no desire to see what the MY27 prices will look like.

I am jealous.
We are in an era where early 912's can reach $100,000.

Porsche used to be “attainable” for the guy who worked hard and had a well, but not exorbitant, paying job. It was a luxury item for sure, and not everyone could afford it, but it was attainable for a normal person, unlike Ferrari or Lamborghini.
Nowadays if you want to buy a new 911 you’re waiting months/years to get a build allocation and you better order at least 30-40k in options or you’re going to the back of the line.
A normally equipped c2 base is like 170k out the door these days.

John at Nola currently has 2 new GT3 Touring, a new GT 3, and a new RS—all ‘26 I believe. I think they are all listed over $400K! They are on the floor at the new location off L&A Road.

Saw him earlier this week in an incredibly special car. 993 turbo S. Don’t think I’ve ever seen one in person before.

Can you even walk into a dealership and order/buy a GT3? Or donyiubget the Ferrari treatment where you have to buy a bunch of of “shitty” cars from them first?

Should have been a speedster. Turrible.
It’s coming. The last one was in 2019–the last year of the 991.

Likely no chance. Best bet would be to buy a “used” one with delivery miles for 50k+ over sticker.

Imagine paying 400k+ for this thing then they drop the speedster a few months after delivery my god.

Looks awesome. This is what I would buy in a hypothetical scenario where I won the lottery and the Corvette ZR1X didn’t exist.

omeone is selling a GT3RS here in Metairie for $400k
Thats about in line with what 22' to 25' used GT3RS' go for... $400-429k
They are worth more resale than they are new out the door. Problem is, its nearly impossible to get allocation.
