You wish it’s only around 250. With right options these will push mid 3s. Not that I can afford it but there are better options at 350

I own a couple of 911’s, but I didn’t pay a lot for them. The window sticker for my 2003 Carerra 4 lists the price at just over $100K when new. That is about $180K in today’s dollars. Here is a comparison to what the new models cost today from a Google search. The base 911’s are a bit cheaper than what mine cost when new when you adjust for inflation.
2025/2026 Porsche 911 Starting Prices (MSRP)
911 Carrera: From ~$120,100 – $135,500
911 Carrera Cabriolet: From ~$133,400 – $149,400
911 Carrera S: From ~$156,200
911 Carrera GTS: From ~$164,900 – $181,000
911 Targa 4 GTS: From ~$186,000
911 Turbo: From ~$197,200
911 Turbo S: From ~$230,400
911 GT3 RS: From ~$241,300

Okay I watched the video just now and it's pretty awesome
Maybe 20 years from now I can upgrade from my OT poor 911 Carrera cab
Although it might cost more then...

Yeah, once you option it out the right way, you're about $350k MSRP, which is a hell of a deal for what you are getting performance wise.
If you are good enough of a client with your dealership, you drive it for a year, get another allocation, and trade it in for what you paid. They turn around and sell it for 400k to the next person.
There are guys basically leasing new GT3RS' for free.

None look "right" without the rear spoiler.
I agree that the GT3 Touring looks like it's missing something without the tail. The Cab though looks good without.

911 is now out of reach for most people
Porsche has been moving the 911 into halo car range. Even a base Carrera in poverty spec will run you $150k. Plus, the allocations ain't quick either.
I think the S/C is Guards, Carmine is much darker in that sort of lighting. I used to be a Guards fan but after owning an Arena 993 and Imola E46 M3 I have shifted to darker reds. That said I think I am done with reds, I want my next 911 to be either Gulf orange or Gulf Blue. I have been going back and forth for the last year or so, but my wife seems to have decided she wants a 911 for her next daily. I normally would balk at two of the same car but she loves Gulf blue to that might work out well. She also wants a GT3 Touring with a manual box which is cool because I thought we would never own another one.
This could be our garage in a couple of years but at least I will probably change my mind 10 times and 5 more after I have an allocation, then paralysis by analysis will hit and I will end up with another Carmine car.
A couple of vids of the GT3 S/C, its great but I am just not a fan of cabs
Catchpole on Hagerty no driving
Chris Harris first drive

I'm not an orange person, but Lava Orange hits really nicely
Gulf Blue is great. I like Miami Blue and Ipanema Blue. Sooo many options with PTS. Just really really hard to get an allocation for anything in PTS. I think it's hilarious there are base Macans out there with 13k PTS option that cost a quarter of what the card did.
Almost better to just get it wrapped and you get the PPF protection with it.

The Turbo S I posted is Gulf orange which is a little lighter and less yellow than Lava. Lava in the shade starts looking pretty red.

I'll probably stay with it next time
