In any event, "Palestine" has never been a state, kingdom, etc. At most, it was under the British Mandate and was an area that was a protectorate of Britain from 1920-1948.

We used to say the joke when someone asked us a YES question. Instead of saying YES, we would say "is the pope Catholic?????? It's no longer a valid statement. The pope isn't Catholic anymore, he's a commie.
