Either he was wearing a vest and that was really good shooting, or he wasn't wearing a vest and it was very bad shooting.

This video was from last year or so.

He actually had already killed a police officer. He took an officer's gun in a struggle and killed him with it.

So this response was understandable. This is my reply to the stupid comments under that video stating they did things backwards. No, they did not.

And he did not survive the shooting.

And the annoying thing is his family said it was out of character for him. Yet he had a criminal history going back at least a decade. At least 6-7 arrests. He was likely on some serious drugs during this encounter.

Until the prongs don't make skin contact and you are being attacked with a knife. I don't think a taser is deployed when there is a close range weapon attackbtakin place. It is used in a passive environment such as when he stood up and walked away.
