It's going to be hard to eliminate unnecessary killing, but it is something we still need to be working towards.
I’m not saying don’t try.
I’m just saying if we don’t get to zero it doesn’t mean police are racist and targeting blacks. Because that’s pretty much the narrative right now.

But they've been suppressed by white people, so they don't know any better

It’s easier for them to play the “victim” card.

So who wrote this racist article?
I'll bet $50 it wasn't written by someone at Mother Jones.
Or CNN.
Or MSNBC.
Or ABC.
Or NBC.
Or CBS.
Or Buzzfeed.
etc.

Somewhere I read that a Professor at some University made a controversial statement that young black men are doing way more to eliminate the black race than the KKK ever did. Maybe not the exact quote but something to that effect. He is 100% correct.

The people who vote democrat don’t care about facts. They are sheep and will do as they are told.

Let's see all the "small government" conservatives excusing a form of government taking the lives of 17 citizens without due process.

You’re so mad that there’s no genocide against black
Posted on 1/21/19 at 9:32 am to HailHailtoMichigan!
Yeah of that number what you need to look at is which of those were unjustified.
Posted on 1/21/19 at 9:53 am to CaptainBrannigan
Why are you ignoring the point? The point that, for the last several years, there’s become an increasing view that there’s an epidemic with police killing black people.

Truth
I'm not sure you know what that word means, especially after reading what I've written in this thread.

Out of curiosity, what percentage of white officers do you believe want to shoot a black person?
I ask this because the public perception that we get from the black community is that they believe a majority or a high percentage want to shoot a black person.
There are two huge reasons I don't buy that.
1 - Most officers I'd argue are decent human beings. They don't want to shoot anyone. They're just here to do their job. Even the officers that are bad at their jobs, have no appetite for shooting even if a suspect deserves it.
2 - The minority that MIGHT want to shoot a black person, they don't want to deal with the litigation and nightmare that comes in the aftermath. The officers in recent times that have shot "unarmed" black men have had their lives turned into a real clusterfukc. So even if they view January through December as "open season", there's no way they want to shoot someone and face defending their action on a chance they'll serve prison time.

They got due process: They posed a threat and a duly appointed officer of the law took duly processed information, perceived them as a threat and dispensed a time-honored remedy to eliminate threats.
Now, there might be an outlier or two, but overwhelmingly these young idiots getting shot did everything in their power to make sure it happened.
Most kills are justified in these instances, get over it.

The 2000 black on black killings must only be the solved ones because there were that many in New Orleans alone last year
