The reason is he wasn’t allowed to have his lawyer with him during his polygraph test. Chief Paul should fire him again. This man has killed one citizen with two shots to the back and attempted to kill another citizen running away from him. He is a threat to the citizens of this parish.
The police department or state police messed this up, and he’s getting his job back. This killer needs to be removed from the department, not assigned to desk duty.

I was personally good with the firing but I'm more interested in the melt than the reversal.

i know gary only cares about this because the victims are black, and if some white dudes were killed or shot by police he wouldn't even bother comment...but...i think he's actually on the right side of an issue for once.

“Passed” isn’t an accurate term.
The polygraph just determines truthfulness to questions asked and it’s not 100% accurate bc an operator has to interpret the readings. They could have asked “did you lie about the shooting?” And he say yes, which is the truth, then he would “pass” the polygraph.

No doubt. Like I said, I agree with the firing, but this reversal makes for an entertaining Thursday afternoon. Noticed how adamant Gravy was about the finding the "racist white man" in Houston then dead silent when it was found out he was an innocent bystander getting away from gunfire? He changed the narrative from catching the white man to justice to catch the killer? The story never would of made it out of Houston if it wasn't for the false narrative him and Martin Luther Cream were pushing.

Dude got off on a technicality, but it's troublesome that the investigators can't do their job without violating the damn Bill of Rights.
