I can tighten a bolt tighter by hand than any portable impact.
I have 4 impact wrenches. You can probably tighten things more by hand. You can possibly tighten things by hand more than the third if you use an extra long force bar. The 4th is industrial model. If you can tighten things by hand more than it please NEVER shake my hand.

You think the OP is smart enough to know the difference in impacts?

I use a gyroscopic screw driver with torque settings.
I only use impacts when driving stuff into wood

You are a lazy clown stripping and rounding heads of tiny bolts
Bite me. I use a Dewalt impact daily installing outlet face plates. Key is using the right size of bit. A random Harbor Freight special may cause some damage, but the right kind and size of bit (Phillips #2 mostly) is magical in my skilled hands.

I use a hammer drill, then top it off with my impact driver. All bolts get tightened to 350 ft. lbs.

Ridgid auto impacts are awesome.

It tightens up until it starts to impact to prevent over tightening.

I then follow up with a torque wrench usually less than one turn to confirm

You are not a machinist in a manufacturing plant

Know how I know you really don’t know shite?

I worked as a machinist in a manufacturing plant, and there are no applications for impact drivers when using machine tools.

Maybe, just maybe we would use an air impact if we were putting big workpieces on the tombstones of a large CNC machining center- but for the most part, everything you clamp down is usually automated (big repetitive work) or done with hand tools.

I cannot stand it when a dumbass (OP) comes and tries to pontificate about something he/she clearly knows nothing about.

And BTW- every single fastener on your Kia was assembled with some type of automated impact style tool. Every. Single. Fastener.
