On the invite say "If you can make it to Georgia I will cover most of the other expenses".
My sisters do this retreat thing annually.
I think they stay in Dahlonega so they can walk the shops. They are very happy with that.
If you need specific inns and shops, speak up and I will get detailed info.

Does she like the GA mountains? When I go on girls trips we go places that are a little more lively. With that being said, if you are paying for her bff's food, spa, cabin, and transportation, it's very reasonable for bff's hubby to pay for her flight. He should also throw in some shopping money or a bar tab.

makes sense to sleep if she has kids. I tend to forget my girlfriends with kids don't get to sleep and never have peace and quiet.
