May as well go Mexico to Canada at that point.

Don’t worry, the explosion was no where near his mom’s basement.

That is not too terribly far from China and Nome.

Pasa GET DOWN dena. Shelter in Place would be a better name for it. Guess this is actually LaPorte (French for what's that smell)

If R's had learned anything they'd be coordinating a social media campaign blaming it on ecoerrorists, true or not.
In this case, fighting fire with fire would be apropos.

How do these things happen?

Holy sheet the grass all around is scorched. Is that from radiant heat or the explosion?

Wow I hope all major news outlets talk about this and how awful Texas is to live in. It’s dangerous. Air quality is so bad. Nobody should want to live there.
Make sure it especially gets aired in California.

Super expensive to live in Texas, also. Yuge state income taxes. Spread the word!

Anyone know what material is burning in that line?

Well compared to most of Louisiana and Mississippi yes Texas is extremely expensive. We try to keep the riff raff out as much as possible

Looks like pipeline ROW shared with high voltage transmission ROW.
Pipeline cathodic protection is tricky along pipeline ROW shared high voltage transmission ROW.
Look up pipeline AC mitigation.
ETA: never mind. Just noticed the fire is emanating from a small station. Likely valve or fitting failure. Maybe due to corrosion.
