Most people underestimate that climb. Actually finding it is quite a challenge in itself. We made the climb back in '79 when freshmen in college (we think, never really sure if we were on it).

Ueli Steck did some amazing things before he died on Everest. His ascent of the Eiger was amazing.

That was my point, albeit out of a very small sample size, it didn’t kill Peter Croft...(I know I said he was dead initially, but climbing didn’t kill him (he’s not dead))...so this doesn’t necessarily kill everyone who does it, and maybe very few who do it at his level.
