3. I looked in Europe, considered Cyprus, but man. I had to go with Hood River, OR. This location is stunning in itself, but will also give me the ability to explore the rest of Oregon, Washington, and northern CA. It is 11 hours from my home in Big Sky. You've got me dreaming now

Because it's not, in reality, an "absolute hell hole".

Having been to many of them, I can say with confidence that it's one of the world's great cities.

Lyon is great.

If you like France but want a smaller city than Paris that would be my choice.

Also they have the best kebab place in Europe.

1. Big Sky, Montana, which is between Bozeman and West Yellowstone. I've got so many things within driving distance from there. From Grant Teton NP to Glacier NP, and some beautiful scenery to the west in Idaho.

$10 billion
I should be able to live off the remainder.

I would buy a giant ranch in the Rockies in a conservative state like Wyoming - fly fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horses, Helo-served skiing, airfield for my Gulfstream 700, etc.

Second, would be in the Greek Mediterranean.

Third, would be in New Orleans to be close to my grandkids. If not for that I would have chosen Costa Rica or thereabouts.
