Never heard of it, but now that I know it’s the Smokies of NC, it makes sense. Beautiful.
We get up there once a year. Its the beauty and peacefulness of Gatlinburg/Piegon Forge area without all the tourist traps and crowds.

Historic beachfront house on Sullivan's Island SC.
Key Largo villa for the winter.
Remote Canadian lake lodge for bugout or escape the heat of summer for a month a year.

love the mountains- but I'm a billionaire now. When I want to go stay in a cabin or on the beach for a few weeks, I can afford that. That's why I've chosen to purchase near family and friends.
Texas Hill Country- family winter compound
Montana- family summer compound
Colorado- good jumping off point for travel out of Denver near family also
Eta: we would also keep our home here for LSU and Saints football

First would be a winery or open land along the coast of central California such as Monterrey or San Louis Obispo. Second would be a nice ranch in Wyoming with cattle and a river for fishing. Third would be a coastal home along the Atlantic in either France or Spain to get the cool climate all year.

A new lake house on Caney or Claiborne lakes.
Build a new 10 - 15k sqft house in West Monroe, Calhoun or maybe east texas on lake ray hubbard.
A condo in New York after this retarded "defund the police" gets reversed. I don't like the idea of paying taxes into NY but if they restored police I'd gladly do it.

1. Big Sky, Montana, which is between Bozeman and West Yellowstone. I've got so many things within driving distance from there. From Grant Teton NP to Glacier NP, and some beautiful scenery to the west in Idaho.

I drove by that house every day for 5 years and it is awesome. Its directly across the river from Valley Forge and it has an English Pub in the basement.
