The biggest thing I see is the complete lack of social awareness issues, such as being polite. People are on their phone in lines, don't look when going through a door for someone in front or behind them, etc.
I just don't see how we devolve from this very much.

OP is right, this shite is out of control. Even for harmless stuff like a group of friends out at dinner and the conversation starts to lull because half the folks are staring at their phone. It's annoying at best, damaging to mental health at medium, and can literally kill at worst.

Agreed. It will eventually become somewhat en vogue to have no social media presence. Will start with celebs and move to everyday people. Wont stop social media use but will curtail it a bit

When walking to a store from your car in a parking lot....don’t walk down the middle of the parking aisle looking down at your phone.
And don’t blare your shitty music off your phone while shopping in Target. I wanted to cut a bitch (well not actually harm but let’s just say I was highly annoyed) in the Christmas department at Target over that this weekend.

My wife's friend rear ended two cars in the last two months, both times because of trying to text while driving, and I witnessed a rear end crash a few weeks ago, same cause.

i was super pissed and hungry yesterday and saw a lady answer her phone loud as frick and on speaker. i almost went into evil slow mode and walked up to her and asked her why she felt i needed to hear her conversation while she shopped

Oh god, I can imagine this woman instantly.
She's of a certain skin tone and is also known for hanging out in the far left lane for her entire drive while going 5mph under the speed limit. She also doesn't seem to notice all the people flying past her in the right lane giving her 'go to hell' looks.

It's rare to have a day go by where I'm not dodging some soccer mom drifting into my lane because she can't stay off facebook for a few minutes.
