Four people were killed and another was injured in two separate shootings in New Orleans Thursday night.
Three people were found dead and another had been shot in the leg at 9:38 p.m. in a home that housed a music studio in the 4100 block of Rayne Drive near the London Avenue Canal (map), the New Orleans Police Department said.
The injured victim was taken to University Medical Center and was in fair condition; the other three were pronounced dead at the scene.

#NOPD has set up a perimeter near the 1900 block of Brutus Street. Officers are searching for an unknown no. of suspicious subjects. The perimeter includes Dreux at Selma and Marigny Street. Holy Cross School on lockdown. Please stay out of the area.

That's several blocks away. I think they'll be fine.
Looks like the protests were deadlier than the virus yesterday.

I hope they get tested for COVID so we can list that as the primary cause of death.

I believe these are “I want your cash and/or drugs” protests.

These cops are out of control, can't believe they hunted these people down like that.

There any more oppression statues left to tear down in Nola?

I lived very near that house for several years in the 1980s, and it was most definitely not the kind of place you'd expect rappers to be. If you ran into one, he would have been solidly in the B-Rad category.
Always liked that part of the city and I hope this is incident is an outlier.

Do an autopsy on these poor victims ASAP. Got to get to the bottom of this problem of COVID and/or white cops killing the future leaders of America.
