Sounds like they have a weakness for below average fast food and average BBQ.

It's downtown...they're staying in safe space. They need to go preach at a Church's on the northside

They also protested the winner of the Indy 500 having a ceremonial glass of milk.

Ok, now I'm pissed.

Only Emerson got to change that tradition.
Once.

They’ve got a decent food menu, burgers, sandwiches, etc etc. but they’re only open Friday-Sunday now. Pretty cool place to stop in after dinner and grab something.

If they’re only open Friday-Sunday, they aren’t gonna have much to protest to today.
What do you get there after you’ve had dinner?

A truck with recorded sounds of the pigs’ screams, along with a subliminal message every 10 seconds suggesting that people go vegan, is stopping around Louisiana.

They need to drive that to the Swine Festival in Basile.

Seems to me Global Wildlife and the Instagator Alligator ranch might have been better options than Fast Food locations but what do i know?

Of all the places that have meat in Lafayette, why a soda fountain only open on the weekends?

Good PETA, sit.

It's basically an old school ice cream/soda shop, so we'll occasionally stop in to split an ice cream or shake, or let the kids get something after having dinner at Central or elsewhere downtown. They've also got cocktails and their food offerings are pretty solid if you want to just eat there too. From what I understand business has slowed for them quite a bit after the initial newness wore off, which is why they're only open weekends now. Hopefully they stay busy enough to stick around, it's a pretty cool spot.
