WTF? Are you so inattentive to the road you can't see that you HAVE to stop in a second or two?
All you're doing is wearing out your brake pads and rotors...

People who don't move at green lights in Houston during rush hour. Thanks for looking at your phone and adding 5 minutes to my drive.
How HEB at 9 PM (posted closing hours of 11 PM) starts filling their entire aisles with restock inventory (10 ft wide by 12 ft tall pallets) littered everywhere, and bringing out construction scissor lifts with beeps as loud as an ambulance for repairs which all of this blocks 80% of aisles, some completely blocked. Others, you have to turn sideways to wedge through to get into an aisle. I go at 9 or 10 to avoid traffic or a one off extremely busy work day. They close at 11. Just do that stuff AFTER posted hours, and not start 2 hours before. I know those employees want to go home earlier, but it creates a huge pain in the arse to shoppers when you have to do the 5 D's of Dodgeball to get an item. Some you can't even get.
The words "supper" or "meal" instead of dinner, don't like those words for some reason. I feel like we're a poor, starving family in the 1800s when it's called supper or meal, rations.
Coworkers who eat at their desk right next to you and smack, slurp like they are from a 3rd world country. Some bite their metal forks and spoons so hard when eating that I have no idea how their teeth are still intact.

How would this affect me?

I do it so you inattentive texters don’t get the chance to cut over in front of me. I swear yall have no awareness, so stay behind me.

HEB does that to piss off the weirdos who grocery shop at 10pm. And to provide 14hrs of unfettered access to their goods for the normal people who shop at reasonable hours.
Spoken like some metrosexual fig who grocery shops at 10pm. Perhaps you should go split a cord of wood.

Same idiots on the highway that try to pass in the right lane when a long row of cars are moving together in unison in the left lane to pass a slower moving truck or group of cars ahead on the right.
Some people are just not capable of thinking beyond what’s right in front on them.
Makes you appreciate the statement “think about how stupid the average person is and then think about how half of the people are more stupid than that.”

In SC, it’s accepted custom to zoom up to within an inch of the car in front of you, then zip around, cutting off as many cars as possible, and go as fast as you can to the light and either run it or slam on brakes at last second, at least partially into the intersection.

What seems reasonable to you doesn't work for those who don't share your schedule. I don't know what "HEB" is, but there have been many times in the past when I worked nothing but double shifts, and I couldn't wait for an off day to get what I needed, so I had to to go in at Wal Mart at nearly midnight (back when it was still open 24 hours) after I got off work. And they were stocking by then, but they weren't in my way. If a store is blocking its aisles with inventory, that's not good service.
And I wasn't about to get up even earlier than I already had to, with as late as I was getting home, to go grocery shopping, when I could just stop by the store on my way back at night.

Nobody uses their damn turn signals anymore is my pet peeve.

This. So much this. Nothing pisses me off more than when someone gets in your lane just to go the same speed they were going in the lane the were leaving.

Does it really grind your gears?

Doesn't sound like it. And I've never heard of it. I don't have one in my area, and no commercial about it has ever played on my television or radio.

They're making traffic worse. The lights are often timed to switch to green about the time the cars should be getting to them if they accelerate normally. Speeding to the light so you have to stop, makes everyone else have to slow down/stop, and reduces the overall flow of traffic.
Now, i think that programming is sometimes done by 85 year old women but it only takes making the drive once or twice to figure them out. But, people are exceedingly stupid.

Amen. The worst is when they are turning left at an unprotected green (no arrow) and they sit there waiting for the cars on the other side of the intersection, who have their signals on, to go. They are too dumb to realize that everyone is waiting on them to go straight bc those going straight have the right of way. Them not turning their signal on means they are supposed to be going straight through the intersection. Drives me insane
Eta:
Honorable mention goes to anyone who stops to “let someone in” at an intersection. You aren’t helping anyone you idiot. All you are doing is messing up the flow of traffic and the order of who has the right of way. This is especially bad when there is a center turn lane involved.

People that don’t adjust their commute times but constantly complain about traffic.

Worse thing is when you are rolling up to a light and you need to determine which lane to get into, and they turn it on when the light turns green, and now you have to wait behind them to turn left.
Inconsiderate fkrs.
