It's only getting worse. This latest instance will only further people curating their social media experience to things that they agree with.
As if people didn't already want their feelings validated 24/7, this has ramped that up even more.
People are only going to keep wanting to exist strictly inside their bubble, and will be silencing and shutting out anyone or anything that challenges their world view.
