This doesn't make sense, reclining is for comfort, it doesn't make more leg room. The seat bottom doesn't move only the seatback.

I don’t care either way, but if you’re going to recline, do it early in the flight. Don’t wait until everyone gets settled and pulls out devices to jerk your seat backwards.

My first reaction was to slam the back of his headrest with the back of my hand. It was a reaction. Was I wrong?

You cant be serious. The seats recline. The person who bought that seat can recline if they want to, it is far more comfortable to recline. If the seat bothers you when it reclines because you are bigger than a normal person, you should pay for the seats with extra leg room and row spacing up front. Everyone on that plane has a right to recline their seat as much as it will recline. You are very much in the wrong.

But a lot of people on this site are all "I paid my 249 dollars for this flight, I'm gonna get mine!" so apparently it's not universal
Agreed.

I also don't like when the people in the row behind you use your headrest as a leverage point to get their fat asses in and out of their own row and I go out of my way to avoid doing such myself (not a fat arse, no pics).

I usually don't care much, but last week I was in a sardine can plane out of BTR, and I'm 6'2 so my knees were already jammed in the seat in front of me and dude then recline backwards. Because my knees are already jammed, he had a rough time pushing backwards so he bounced until I twisted my hips so my knees got out of the way of this baw, and had to sit like that the duration of the flight. Thankfully it was just a short flight to Houston for a connection. It was not pleasant at all.

ETA

Because if this i actually plaid to upgrade seats for all of my other flights on the trip lol

On 4 hour plus flights, I can see it, but otherwise those who recline should be kicked by a mule squarely in the nuts or c*nt. They should removed that option from planes.

All of you pussies can fly airlines that don’t have a reclining seat function.

Spirit sounds right up your alley.

They don’t have a reclining function.
