People who have been to or live in CA, why do you hate it?

Three reasons for me:
1. paying 2700$ for a 1 bedroom
2. paying 400$ for plate renewals
3. huge amounts of traffic
I wish I could leave this state sometimes, but the benefits outweigh the costs.

If you ever live here, politics isnt really a shining issue unless you discuss with others, which is taboo anyways

Flaming liberals.
As an a&m fan, you should fit in well.

I have only been to L.A. I was shocked by how unlike TV/Movies that place is. It is a polluted, homeless infested, traffic-filled dump.

They are?
Savannah and Charleston have similar benies all around, except less traffic and worse Mexican food.
Cost of living is more than half.
As a matter of fact, the only shite thing crappy about them is that I95 runs nearby.

Los Angeles is truly a shithole. I try not to go there unless I want great asian food.

Their real-estate prices are probably the only thing that would keep me from living there. I’m not a fan of their political scene, but you can avoid most of that if you go inland or north. They have legal pot, amazing scenery, and temperature weather year round.

I lived in La Jolla CA for a couple years before moving to Houston. Property values around SD are to inflated.
That said, I’m moving back to CA in a few months for work. Everyone says I’m crazy. Maybe I am.
Edit: Moving back to San Diego

Not a fan of wackadoodle politics, ultra-high taxation and cost of living, or earthquakes. Pass
