People walking up behind you at work

Anyone else have managers that do this? Damn, this is a shitty thing. My desk faces a corner and and it’s impossible to tell when people walk up behind you do to office layout.
Sometimes I’ll just turn around and they’ve been standing behind me for like 1-2 minutes , just watching me.
My section manager came up today while I was writing a confidential email to a coworker that I was coaching them through a work issueissue. Pretty sure the manager saw some of it. Then as soon as i noticed him, I closed it and he said “you don’t need to stop what you’re doing when I come by.”
Like just fricking announce yourselves. That’s common courtesy.

Oh, it’s in a corner. I’m facing a corner. And half the office is behind me and all their desks face mine. So already they can see everything I do. But like they don’t give a shite. It’s when my reviewers come up and are just standing there, like 18 inches behind me and they just start talking like we’re in the middle of a conversation. “Oh, you just checked screens a b e. You should have checked screen c first.”

My manager came up behind me once and stood there. He didn't say a word, but I could hear him breathing. It was kind of like hearing an obscene phone call.

I was cutting my grass this afternoon and some a-hole came jogging/running behind me and right as I turned around he was right in my face, he was on the sidewalk and so was I, I pushed him into the street and told him that’s a good way to get get your arse beat or if I had a gun you could have gotten shot.
