There were too many people at church seems to kind of go against the basic idea of church.

God forbid babies and toddlers scream and interrupt your service.

When I was a small boy (long long ago) the Pastor of our Church had a booming voice and his homilies were something to behold.....very charasmatic and loud (if need be). He would always tell the moms......bring the babies I can preach above them. I recall a church full of crying screaming babies (10:30 Sunday Services) and the Pastor never missed a lick.

Even till this day......I don't get affected by crying babies in Church.

Gloria Patri!

If you are as devout a Christian as you claim to be, answer me this. What do you think Jesus would have to say about you being aggravated at people showing up today? Regardless of what the reason is.

Nothing is more endearing and inviting that catholic snobs. Your made up religion is nothing special. You should probably focus on being a better person and not letting your priest diddle your kids.

People that only attend church on Christmas Eve

Checking in.

I only go to Church (outside of weddings and funerals) on Christmas Eve. Only reason I even do Christmas Eve is because it means a lot to my grandparents to have everyone with them at mass.

It’s obvious people only go to virtue signal that they are Christians when this will be the one time they go and they can’t be inconvenienced by going on Christmas Day. This is what happens when you take the Christ out of Christmas and make it a pagan holiday about receiving gifts.

I think that's an overly pessimistic guess about people's motivations.

I think it more likely that they are going for reasons of culture and tradition.

Either way, it seems to me that you should be more concerned about the reasons why you are bothered by any of it.

Explain to me how in the world you honestly believe Christmas is a "Holy Day"?

Atheists here at it again. Nobody is attacking them, yet there they come to tell everyone in a thread not about them that God isn't real and telling people how dumb they are for going to Church. Never fails
