The difference is nothing at any given point in time.

However the community, the commitment, and the tradition of regular church going is more likely to keep a person involved in faith matters. You can inspire others or bounce questions off each other. You can combine efforts to help other people or evangelize. You can learn in different ways than just on your own.

I always keep a perspective that life and these matters are more than just stuff about only me.

Went to a Christmas Eve church service at a brewery today. Drank beer while the pastor read scripture and we all sang hymns.

Good times and I didn't "interrupt" anybody's usual church going.
