People that only attend Church on Christmas Eve

Let me preface this by saying I am an observant Christian and I usually attend on all Holy Days including Christmas. Unfortunately though, my sister wants me to join her family and our parents for Christmas at her place in Flagstaff and the only flight I could get leaves tonight so I had to settle for Christmas Eve Mass.
What a shite show it was. The Church was three times as crowded as normal and people had to sit outside the church, not even able to hear the the priest or partake in the Eucharist. No point in even going if you can’t do that. There were at least 6 screaming toddlers or babies and the parents made no effort to quiet them. Additionally, other people, unfortunately not the screaming kids, were getting up and leaving in the middle of church. It’s obvious people only go to virtue signal that they are Christians when this will be the one time they go and they can’t be inconvenienced by going on Christmas Day. This is what happens when you take the Christ out of Christmas and make it a pagan holiday about receiving gifts.
Edit: Many naysayers and heathens in this thread. Have fun when God smites thee on Judgement Day for commercializing Christ and using Christianity as a part of a pagan ritual. Satan lurks everywhere these days. I can only pray that you come to your senses.

Don’t go to church and you won’t have this problem.

God forbid babies and toddlers scream and interrupt your service. Christmas is about the miracle of a baby born to the world, would you have complained about our lord and savior screaming as he entered the world?

You should have put God before your family and attended Mass on Christmas anyway

The Christian hatred that infests the OT is disgusting.

Church is crowded because everyone, and there out of town families, are there. Not because they go only on Christmas Eve.

Get off your high horse. Some people go cause it's tradition. Some go because they are obligated to attend with their normal church going family. Most don't go once a year to "check that off the list". They go because of the other reasons I mentioned. In fact, I'd argue that a higher percentage of regular church goers are there to virtue signal and "check that off the list"

We all know those individuals are the fake Christians.

Nope. There homeless people these fake Christians picked up so they'd look like REAL Christians.
They don't even have families!

Who cares, it is not my place to judge the intent and heart of others.
I worry about me and mine and how we celebrate Christ.
