My wife’s parents did not like the nicknames that are possible with her first name so called her by her middle name. How about don’t name her first name or switch them, but but it doesn’t flow as well. I do t like her first name so works for me.

No, but the email domain people in your IT department are.
I go by my middle name, everyone at work calls me by my middle name and my middle name is in my email.
It’s never been a problem for anyone because nobody seems to like my first name anyway.

I am a junior so of course I go by my middle name, avoided confusion.
Half the people in my first group where I work did too.

I’ve gone by my middle name since birth and I cannot stand it. Being called by my first name when I’m at the doctor irks the frick out of me. Having to explain you go by your middle name to everyone of significance you meet is a complete pain in the arse. I’ve considered switching around my first and middle name several times.

i recently went to a website called bobs creature baits
guy replied to my message saying he was the owner, so i replied hello bob, i want to order xyz from you
after a long pause he replied "my names frank not bob"
i asked why its called bobs if his name is frank, he said, with a bit of an attitude included, if you bother to look at the bottom of the web page it says the owners name is frank
people are just weird

My son is a junior and goes by our middle name. I've already told him that people are going to call him by his first name very often, and he shouldn't worry about it. He said he doesn't care, it's his name.
My 5 year old has more chill than you, I guess is what I'm saying.

Screw you.
I go by my middle name.
Parents made me a junior but called me by my middle name. Helps when I get solicitation calls and they ask for me by my first name. I hang up.

You want people to go by their birth name but y’all constantly shite on travel ball names. Are you going to rip Brexlynn when he’s a grown man because he would rather be called something else?

I’m one of those aholes. Actually, I’m worse. My parents called me a nickname of my middle name so that’s what I’ve always used.
