It's Bidenomics - The more we rely on China the more money the Bidens make, the more crack Hunter can smoke.

You know what else would help save the world? Correct grammar and not speaking Ebonics.

ehh, people buy things for all kinds of reasons. some i understand, some i don’t.
the way i figure it, most people aren’t buying EVs to save the environment. But rather because they’ve become popular / the in thing. My only beef with EV’s is the government incentivizing people to buy them or forcing people to buy them.

They’re everywhere. Next time you see one ask the driver why they bough it.

If I have the money for full solar and an EV, I'd go for it. Less pollution (regardless of you opinion about climate change, you can't argue against cleaner air in Baton Rouge), no cost to drive locally, and backup for storms.

Only the pleebs believe that shite. Because it is be sold to them that way by smarter people who are just trying to make money. Anyone with an I.Q. over 95 can see right through this bullshite.
The bigger question that I have is how all these dumb bastards can afford the price point of EVs. I guess there might be money in being an imbecile.

I think they are still going to let you choose to buy an ICE. You will be punished financially for it if this mook wins in 2024. Whoever his Puppet masters are hate your ICE.
Potus doesnt have the cognitive abilities to decide much of anything, beyond what flavor pudding he wants. He is at least able to scream Doody!, Doody! when he shits himself.

A family friend owns a popular Ford dealership out in the country. While he has some F150 Lightnings on his lot and pushes them to customers, he said that most residential areas/neighborhoods do not have the infrastructure to support every household charging an EV at same time each night.
Could be BS or easily fixed…I’m no expert but that is one thing I haven’t heard anywhere else that concerns me in the near term as well.
He also pointed out that the heavier weight of EVs causes tire pollution/wear far faster than ICE equivalent vehicles.

they are doing their part to save the world?
—50% believe this
The rest buy one bc their neighbor bought one, and the don’t want to feel uncool.

Yeah, I live around a bunch of them. They also have to tell the cashier at the grocery store "I'm doing my part to save the planet" when using their own cloth bags to carry their food out.

It’s marketing dude. That’s the whole point, to sell you on an idea. I’d happily consider an electric vehicle in the near future, but it’s not because I want to save the world. Most Model 3 drivers I see are Uber drivers. Most Model S and other makes are rich white people who can afford a $75k+ vehicle, want the fed and state tax credits, and don’t want to drive the usual Mercedes/BMW/Lexus.
I consider myself a petrolhead but it’s hard to deny the advantages of EV over ICE for the average person. Especially once charging tech and infrastructure catches up.

Not a new gripe at all, I’ve seen it discussed in articles about EV’s. It’s a non-issue. Charge at night when power demand is much less than the day.

The reason is that it is far superior to any ICE vehicle in every way except endurance and fuel availability.
People lost their minds when they started using stats to buy vehicles. It’s a terrible, terrible way to live.

Hardly anyone buying thinks these things. Do you think every commercial is gospel? Wait till I tell you about the corporate media...
And who cares about the environmental impact anyways? I was I'm a 69 Boss 302 a few weeks ago. How environmentally friendly is that?

I find the average EV buyer to be relatively unconcerned about environmental concerns. It's more like a trophy, status symbol. They have one because it's a dick measure to show they can afford one.

If C02 was bad then why did God (or nature/biology if you aren’t a person of faith) determine that every living breathing creature releases C02 when they breathe?
