frustration doesn't start and stop at legal vs not legal. People get frustrated because retards like you mess up the flow of traffic, causing a line of cars rather than spread out easy going traffic.
Even if you are going the speed limit or less, if you're in the passing lane but not passing, it's illegal, so next time you best stay legal so you don't get all jacked up by the big scary law and move on over.

The reason I'm on your arse in the left lane, is because you didn't pay attention to the flow of traffic, or me flashing your lights at you when I was behind you five car lengths ago, etc.
Too many people are unwilling to signal other drivers to get their face out of their phones. Honking, etc.

The speed limit is the speed limit so two wrongs don't make a right. Passing in the left lane all within the context of the law. Sorry, if the logic escapes you. Otherwise, I would get no ticket for driving 90 mph in the left lane while passing up another car.

One of the State Trooper captains was on WWL radio several years ago. He stated that it’s your obligation to move over even if you are speeding. You are not allowed to impede the left lane even if the approaching driver is speeding.

They dont want to be in the lanes that have traffic entering and exiting on the roadway.
Plus, you know they dont care, because when its time to exit they want to ride their brakes so that they can find a clear space to begin moving all they way to the right lane

This thread reminds why as I have gotten older, I tend to do the about speed limit in the right lane and let everyone else fight and jocky for position, speeding up, slowing down, tailgating, honking, flashing, worrying about cops, raising their blood pressure...
Meanwhile, I have the cruise on, get better mileage and only have to occasionally pass a semi or rv. A much calmer driving experience

Florida recently passed a law (not sure if it is in effect yet) that if you are in the left lane and not passing anyone you can get a ticket. We'll see if it is enforced.

The amount of left lane drivers that allow space for cars/ 18 wheeler's is the problem.
If I'm in the left lane and I see an 18 wheeler get over 3 cars ahead of me then someone fricked up and needs to get out the way.

I don't know that they're the worst per se, but they are pretty bad. It amazes me how often I'll see these trucks going close to 100 mph on the interstate.
