I think they just don't realize they're holding people up so I flash my headlights a few times.
If that fails, I have multi-colored l.e.d light strip in the grille area that I set to the color blue, orange and white and rapidly turn them on and off. That usually does the trick.

One of my peeves is tailgaters don't let you get more than a car length ahead of the vehicle you just passed and they slide into the right lane passing you before you even had a chance to move over.
I like to give the passed vehicle a few car lengths before pulling back in front of him, esp if it's a semi.
Or when they nearly clip your front bumper after passing you....

So, this past week, I took my girlfriend back home for the first time to deal with some family stuff. She has lived her entire life in Montana and has never been east of the Dakotas (been a good bit to other rural parts of the Rockies and PNW).
Being a smart gal, she quickly noticed this same phenomenon. She caught on to the Nissan stereotype, too. She noticed a few other things that she always thought were just racist tropes turned out to be valid. Not like you can figure that out living in the Northern Rockies on a ranch.
Honestly, going back and dealing with the traffic was a shock to me. I had gotten so used to pleasant, courteous, and lightning fast Montana drivers, that the general retardation that seems to infest half the Southern population when it comes to driving nearly turned me apoplectic.

I drive in the left lane at times when exceeding the speed limit passing slower traffic on the right. However, I monitor the road behind me and move over when someone closes in. I set the cruise control so I am not modulating speed which pisses people off. You would be surprised at the amount of people who don't use cruise control unless they go on long trips. They drive 75 MPH in the left lane, get a phone call or get distracted, and the next thing you know they are going 65 MPH without realizing and are not monitoring the traffic behind them.

Most people are paying attention and completely clueless.
There are some sick fricks who speed up when you start to pass them on the right, look, you can be a dick in the left lane all fricking day long, as soon as you actively try to block drivers who are trying to get away from you I don't care if they start shooting at you.

Dad says same thing , but women in general are the worse followed by truckers that build up a mile long line behind them before they are ever able to pass up a vehicle. Need to limit truckers to only the right lane with a max speed of 65 on interstate. That way they never have a reason to ever try to pass someone.

I'll be driving 75 in the right lane, and they will overtake me, pull ahead and into the right lane. then they instantly slow down to 70. as soon as i pass, it happens again. i sometimes drive 80 for 5 minutes, drop back to 75, and wait. soon, they pass again, pull over again, and slow down again.
