but how fat and lazy do you have to be to go back in and sit in your car while you pump gas? Especially when you are filling up a car.
I keep my car and A/C running and stay cool while the pump runs. Why does that bother you?

My recent experience that had my BP up:
I usually get gas at my local Dollar General because not only do they have the lowest prices in town, they also knock 3-6 cents off per gallon if you use one of their gas cards. I try to fill up when I also have some things to pick up in the store. Sunday, I pulled into a regular parking space, intending to pay for my gas and pull to the pumps after I did a little shopping. As I’m getting out of my car, I notice a young lady and her toddler pull up to the gas pumps and get out of their car. They followed me right into the store. I shopped for about fifteen minutes, paid for my merchandise and gas, and went out to my truck to pull over to the pumps. You guessed it, the young lady’s car was still sitting at the pumps while she went inside to shop for who knows how long. Even after filling up and getting back in my truck, she still hadn’t emerged from the store. Simple fact is most people DGAF about anyone other than themselves and don’t know what courtesy is.

Best way to avoid the gas pump scanners is to pay inside.

Adding to the list. Folks who slow down when you waive them through while walking. Full transparency, I will blow the horn if you take too long and aren’t old or cripple.

I wouldn’t know. I use Instacart and have my groceries delivered to me like a civilized human being.

Salmon wouldn't last two minutes at a Buc-ee's

agreed, but knowing that most people are selfish assholes i plan accordingly and fill up at locations i know are not trafficked frequently at the hours i fill up.

Who the hell can afford gas, AND snacks?

Dudes who order six sandwiches at Subway for the office and have each person's intricate ingredient list written down and take a half hour to complete the order are an absolute nightmare. This is inexcusable in a world with apps.
Anytime I see a post it note come out I cringe and brace myself.
Only thing worse than that is when a gaggle of nurses and/or medical office receptionists come in (idk what they are...women in scrubs) they all get a fricking salad which is more intensive to make, none of them know what they want and they are all waiting to see what the other gets on it

You can't just keep driving till you find a Buc'ees?
Bruh, Bucees is the worst about this.
Every damn one of the 150 pumps will have a car sit there while the owner goes in to shop, poop, and eat bbq for an hour.

My truck is running, I invite you to move it.
Your stolen truck is running because you didn't get the keys when you carjacked it. If you turn it off, you won't be able to start it again.

Haven’t had to wait for a pump in a long time. People are definitely driving less.
