I park at the pump to go inside even not getting gas, just so I don't have to reverse out. Messicans love the QTs and they're packed as frick.

If you are getting gas at a very busy gas station and then feel the need to go inside to get your bag of chips and liter of cola (you did earn it for standing up for those 3 minutes), please move into a parking spot.

Imagine how annoying it is when there's only one pump that has non-ethanol fuel and some bastard picked that pump for his regular unleaded and then did this. And you roll up with your gas can for your mower about 10 seconds after they've walked in to take a shite and buy some pork rinds. It sucks.

The worst is when Costco is 5 cars deep at every lane and the person who gets to the pump sits in their car for about 3 minutes before even getting out and starting to pump

Gas vehicles filling up at pumps with diesel should be a federal crime. Unfortunately Casey's is too cheap to have diesel only pumps

I've never been to a gas station bush enough to warrant this except Buccee's on memorial day weekend. I've frequented many metro areas so its not like i stay in small towns

The gas station closest to my house (in a metro area) stays pretty busy. OP’s advice would absolutely apply.

Watched a guy the other day pump his gas, clean the windshield, and then go inside (was still inside by the time I was done pumping myself) while people were waiting for a pump. It’s fricking rude.

This is based entirely on who was there before you and what side your cap is on. The person you perceive as being an a-hole for not pulling up to the second pump, may have been behind someone else until that person pulled away.

If I am not there when they pull up I give them the benefit of a doubt that someone was in the way. However I have witnessed plenty of selfish, self absorbed people just pull to the first pump and stop, making it difficult for the next person.

I would've insisted on pumping your gas for you

This is truly a lack of awareness issue. While I’ve obviously noticed that some pumps have diesel and some don’t, it never really clicked for me that that some pumps within a single station have diesel and some don’t. Assuming there are other available pumps, I’ll try to avoid them in the future

With that said, they could probably be marked a bit more fricking conspicuously and exclusively

I thought you rode your e-bike everywhere and especially when packing out the moose you killed down in South Louisiana.

And if you drive a vehicle that takes gas don't pull up to the only gas/diesel pump available if there are other gas pumps available.

ETA: Sheit, should have read through the entire thread first.

I’ll also add, can you use a blinker if you see me waiting for you just let me know you’re turning by putting on your fricking blinker.

This one really annoys me. I’m at a stop sign with a driver approaching from the left. I’m waiting for him pass so I can cross and he ends up turning right. USE YOUR BLINKER motherfricker!

Diesel pumps are typically on the ends (trucks are bigger and more likely to be pulling a trailer). Truck stops are the only place that makes it obvious but thanks for looking out for us diesel baws.

And pull up to the second free pump, not the first... a-hole

It's only the "second" free pump if the guy behind you has gas tank on the same side fwiw.
