Stores are open in Orange Beach, but restaurants only have take out. You can sit and eat at Florabama because they're going off of Florida guidance.

Good to hear. None of the arguments for staying shut make sense. SHO in New York shows it isn’t working. If 66% of people in New York testing positive have followed all rules there is clearly no stopping it. Just open it up

I give wearing of masks in public by social justice worriers one more week and then they’ll disappear like bell bottom jeans.

South LA. Went to Rouses this morning around 7. Fairly busy and about 9 of every 10 people were wearing masks.

I just don’t get it.

And I bet the hospitals won’t be overwhelmed

ETA
I don’t get the downvote. I thought the purpose of the lockdown was to prevent hospitals being overwhelmed initially.

What happened to ramping up available care? Available beds? Respirators? Nurses?

People now see stay at home for the BS it is. Hope people will keep their nerve when cases go up and the media screams. It is what has to happen.

I actually have no issue with the masks. I don't like them, but I think if we had kept everything open to start but required masks, we'd be better off. I can live with the mask thing for a while if we open it up.

People don’t want to admit that they were duped. They went out and loaded up on toilet paper and masks and are now standing there with their dick in their hands

Right, which is why Florida guidance applies. But it's so close to Orange Beach, that some people in Alabama may want to go there to sit down and eat.

My friends and I said we were done last weekend and boiled crawfish and had a small pool party. More of the same this weekend.

Still did stuff over the last two months but everyone we know just gave up and moved on with life as of last weekend
