Right, which is why Florida guidance applies. But it's so close to Orange Beach, that some people in Alabama may want to go there to sit down and eat.
Correct. The way your post was phrased implied the bar straddled the state line. Most people think it does...

Serious question — can you get drinks to go when you get take out in Alabama? Never tried so I really have no clue.
There’s a daiquiri shop near Publix in Orange Beach where you can. I think Tacky Jacks will sell you Bushwackers. I’m sure other stores will as well. I believe that the Orange Beach restaurants can have 50% occupancy beginning May 11. i think this also applies to rest of Alabama, but not positive.

Beautiful 70 degree day, warmed the heart to see so many people out hiking, crabbing, running.
I also notice since they've opened up other venues, the big grocery stores weren't nearly as crowded as they have been.

This is what I have been telling the more zealous quarantiners. People are over it. No one is going to accept a "new normal." We are going back to regular life.

I’m in perdido and it’s not packed at all. Cold as shite yesterday morning.

Never seen so many boats around here as I did yesterday. Surprising, because I assume all the snowbirds would have left.

I tried going to the beach in Clearwater and it was absurdly packed. Spent an hour looking for parking before calling it a day.

The "2 weeks behind Italy" may have been a fail, but don't count them out just yet.
The new and improved fear is here. "Second Wave(tm) - just 2 weeks away!"
Uh, disregard the issue of the first wave not overwhelming hospitals. It will this time, trust us!
However, lockdown rules have been changed. It is no longer a violation to leave your house to have sex with married women. Completely acceptable.

I had about 25-30 people over yesterday. Mostly family for Mother’s Day. Roasted a pig, smoked two gog’s, charbroiled and raw oysters. I live in Avoyelles and haven’t changed anything since this shite has started two months ago!

First we had flatten the curve. I think the nation understood this and went a long.
Then our governor started the next push of needing to stay locked down until we had more testing. We've done a shitton of testing and even though he has tried to use the results to scare us, the people want things to open up.
The last push has been the contact tracing crap. I think he figured out he can't win with that argument, so hes going for getting the below R1 crap.

Who the frick does this guy think he is? Is this 1980's USSR and he's the KGB in charge?

Lots of folks camping, on the water, in the parks. Yesterday felt "normal." It was great just to see people enjoying life again.
