For a cool overcast day lots of young and old on the walking bridge today. Most of the young couples had children with them.
One middle aged couple had on masks. Other than that people were going about their normal Sunday afternoon.
Walked the bridge. Went to the Bluff View Bakery and bought bread and pretzels.
Went to Wally World. Everyone going about their business.
The dog is protected.

That's a large bridge. I wouldn't think its conducive for a bunch of transmissions.

Why? There’s nothing wrong with going for walks, jogs, boat rides, etc with members of your immediate family in places where you won’t be within 10-15 feet of others.

There is 0.000000000000001% chance of contracting the virus walking by yourself outdoors. Bring hand sanitizer and keep a reasonable distance when grocery shopping.
It’s not rocket science.

But the authoritarians didn’t even say you have to stay in your home with the door shut. They said to not go anywhere where there would be groups of 10+ people congregating (or whatever the number is in your state).

The bill of rights hasn’t been suspended last I heard.

Yes, there is. They keep saying it can live in the air for up to 3 hours. If there is a 5 mph wind, everyone that is an upwind carrier within 15 miles can get you.

It would take a special kind of stupid to believe this was true.

You don't have to believe it, Baw. You just have to come up in all of these dumb threads, where monkeys are spewing BS as fact. Join them occasionally. The more outlandish, the funnier.

If this is really the case, everyone's gonna get it almost regardless.
That bridge photo looks like "social distancing" to me.
I feel like a lot of the more extreme "lockdowns" are because so many people aren't just following basic common sense precautions on their own.

Built in 1890.
They closed it for several years. Then renovated it and turned it into a walking bridge.
It went from wagons, to trolley cars, to automobile to pedestrian.

I see zero wrong with the picture of that bridge. People look barely within ten feet of one another.

I'd like to be the first to welcome you to the OT. The restrooms are over there to the left and we ask that you wash your hands when you're done. The kitchen is over there on the right. Make yourself at home.

Is that the Walnut street bridge? Was just wondering, live a short distance outside Chattanooga but usually don’t venture into the city. Recently my sons coach decided to end his life by jumping off that bridge so was just curious if that was the same one.
