Did they intend for it cause breech births? Seems like that wouldn't be so helpful.
Also, can you imagine that thing slinging the packing juices all over the wall? Birth room would look like a cattle trailer after a three day haul.

The manufacturers of forceps suppressed this technology so they could keep racking up big, big profits via traditional deliveries.

This is actually a rip-off of the failed "constipation relief table" patent.
That same thought crossed my mind.

I don’t know why, but it kind of reminds me of this:

Another example of why not everything patented is actually a good idea, practical or successful.

This is one of the funniest things you've posted here.
They could buy one of those prime day 55 gallon drums of lube for added fun.

I love the addition of the bell “in case medical personnel are temporarily distracted”

True
I once reviewed a patent application for an electrical wet connect for mwd tools. The application had already published and my potential employer discovered that it would short out. I was reviewing this as a test of sorts. I discovered the short they already knew about by reviewing the patent drawings. Pretty embarrassing for that company to have an application published for an invention that would not do what it was designed to do.
Google patents used to have patents pop up on the start up page that were selected for being crackpot. The centrifugal birthing chair was one that would often appear.

It would be like those things that spin the paper and you squirt paint into it. Blood and tissue and fluid would be flying everywhere.
Maybe cover the room with canvas and then sell the “art.”

The baby is caught in a net while the Mother spins in circles at up to 8 g’s.
